Our History

From where we came...

This is where it all began from a Brush Arbor - 1820's Church - 1826 Church - 1916 Church

How we have changed...

Circa 1817 annual camp meetings held at present church site. 1820 first church building erected of long logs with fireplace at one end, pulpit at the other. This building was moved and became the Norwood school house. 1882 the church building that is still being used today was constructed. In 1916 the building was brick veneered and the new bell tower was erected and a large bell was purchased.  1951 parsonage was built and in 1956 Sunday school classes were added. 1984 Church hut was expanded.
