Faith Community Health Ministries

Faith Community Nurses visit church members at home or in hospitals and nursing homes.  While they do not provide direct patient care, faith community nurses regularly coordinate and participate in health & wellness outreach programs, health screenings, & community health fairs.  The greatest benefit of faith community nursing is the ability of the nurse to provide educational principles, along with spiritual care and nurturing during times of need .  This is a role that no other in the church is able to provide, bringing together health & healing of the mind  & body through spiritual care .

Faith Community Health Ministry is a collaboration between Carolinas Healthcare System & First Methodist Norwood to promote health & whole ness of mind , body, and spirit within the faith community.   Please contact Sarah Lee, FCN with any needs or concerns at 704-984-0165 or 704-474-3130 or accnurse @rocketmail.com
