*********Raised $1000.00 ******* Appreciate all of the young folks, parents, and Church Family that supported Dalton’s event. What a wonderful way to honor the life of Dalton—Betty Ann’s grandson.

Youth Missions Fundraiser

Sponsored by Dalton Andrew McSwain Foundation

The Day Snow-Tubing and Ice-Skating trip was a tremendously successful trip.  The young folks (and “older folks) enjoyed the fun, fellowship, devotion, and activities.  Young folks were well-behaved and it was a wonderful bonding time for us all!  Appreciate all of the prayers.  Appreciate those parents that provided snacks/drinks. Especially appreciate all of the adults that invested in our young folks for this event—Tammy Brewer, Paula Blake, Tina & Doug Smith, Jennifer Smith, Kristie Hinson, and Kenny Horne.  Pictures will be in bulletin and newsletter!  :)

Appreciate all of the Wesley/Youth that attended Sunday School (10:15) & then, collected for the Souper Bowl Of Caring (collection for Hunger) last Sunday!  We collected $866.21!  Can I get a “whoot-whoot, AMEN”!  I was also, proud of our "young men" (Riley, Triston, Ty, and Colson) for collecting the offering.  It was such a "tender" moment watching Jimmy Colson teach the young men "how" to collect the offering!  I know it was difficult getting up and "serving" after the action-packed daySaturday (or at least, it was for MY family)!  Thank you parents for encouraging your child!

Wesley/Youth will participate in the Servants with a Heart, Packing Event held at Prospect Baptist, Saturday, February 6 from 10:00-12:30.  Meet at Prospect Baptist.  Pls let me know if your child plans to attend, if you have not done so already. I need to know today. :)

Gameplan For the month (please record the following dates):

Sunday, February 7:      Super Bowl Pre-Game/1st half Party, 6:00-7:15.  Church Family, if you would like to support this event and provide a finger food for this event, please contact Amy at

Sunday, February 14     4:30-6:00 Wesley/Youth (Bunco with some special Young at Heart folks).  (Showing God's love by respecting our "older folks").  They will teach US!

Sunday, February 21     4:30-6:00 Wesley/Youth Heart Healty with Sarah Lee

Sunday, February 27     NO Wesley/Youth activities.

Saturday, March 5        TBA, Wesley/Youth assist in Dalton’s Fundraising Event (Betty Ann’s grandson)

Please mark your calendars for this event and invite your friends!  It is a very worthy cause! Wesley/Youth will sell tickets for this event beginning mid-February.

Thank you for attending the meeting Sunday morning.  I have revised the schedule, which will be posted on the bullentin (in the Hallway).  There are still a few "blanks," so if you are interested in serving in this capacity, simple sign up.  Amber will begin providing materials for the volunteer from  Each volunteer will receive the following.

5 copies of the Sermon; Coloring Page (front/back)

5 copies of the Fill in the Blanks; Crossword Puzzle (front/back)

If there is not a Children’s Church Volunteer designated, Children’s Packets(containing Worshipful activity sheets & crayons) are available in the Hallway leading to the sanctuary (on pedestal).

Please note Children's Church is designed from Pre-K to Grades 2/3 (ages 7/8) only

Our Wesley/Youth Program (which includes Sunday School) is very active and growing.  If your child would like to join the Christian fellowship and mission opportunities, COME!  Reach out and invite a friend that does not have a Youth group.

Striving to capitalize of your child's gifts and make disciplines!  There is always an opportunity to serve!

Thank you all!
