The SCCM Food Challenge 

 

Any food items that you wish to donate would be greatly appreciated.

  

 

Prayer Group   meets Tuesday at 10:00am in the church parlor. We gather to remember the needs of our church, our families, our community, and our world, and to thank God for all our blessings. “True, whole prayer is nothing but love.”—St. Augustine

 United Methodist Women meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Faithful Circle at 1:30pm and Sisters With A Purpose Circle at 6:30pm

 

United Methodist Men meeting 4th Sunday of each month at 7:30am.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Sunday School for all ages 10:00am

Worship Services: Sundays at 8:45am & 11:00am

Mission Opportunities

If you would like to donate to the Norwood Food Pantry you may leave non perishable food items, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items at the handicap ramp door.  We will get it to where it needs to go. Thank you!

 

Mission /Outreach

Esther House (Local Domestic Violence Shelter) Needs: Canned food, paper products, toiletries, cleaning, &  laundry supplies.

Pregnancy Resource Center of Stanly County (PRC)  Needs: New born size diapers, baby wipes, & infant baby formula.

 

Prayer Shawl Ministry

If you know of anyone that is in need of a prayer shawl, please fill out the prayer shawl request slip that is located on the backs of the pews. You can put it in the offering plate and it will be given to the group or email the church office   norwoodumcoffice@windstream.net

 

Friday Friends at Norwood Elementary

Friday Friends provides bags of food for the less fortunate children to take home for the weekend.
