At this time we are not gathering together at the church building, because of the quarantine. Even though we are not together in the building at 208 Pee Dee Ave. we are still the Church. Pastor Bill Roberts has been recording a weekly sermon and these can be viewed on this website. We can still be doing God's work at home by checking on each other, praying for each other, studying the Bible and sharing what we have with those who have not.
Until we can gather together again, remember you are loved, prayed for and missed.
We would like to invite you to come worship with us.We are located near beautiful Lake Tillery at the corner of Pee Dee Avenue and Allenton Street in Norwood NC.
If you like the traditional Methodist service with the Chancel Choir providing music, then the 11 o'clock service is for you.
The 8:45 service leans more toward a contemporary worship service with praise and worship music provided by the Praise Team.
If you are enjoying the lake for the weekend and need a place to worship our 8:45 service is a casual dress service.
Pastor Bill Roberts officiates both services.
We are always happy to meet new people - all are welcome!
The First United Methodist Church of Norwood is a church with a heart for our community.
